Audi has refreshed A3 and has declared the series of modifications for 2017 Audi A3 Facelift. This new addition to A3 family will come up with polished looks. The modification that are made to Audi A3 not only include the exterior restyling but also the updated interior and even few new powertrain specs. Refined Powertrain Features
The chief modification that has been made to upcoming 2017 Audi A3 Facelift is the inclusion of the latest 2.0-liter four -cylinder engine. This engine made its debut in A4 range 2016 and now will come in all A3s models as well. This engine empowers the car by producing the horsepower of 190hp and a torque of 236 lb-ft. The new Audi A3 also has an option of upgraded S3 engine. S3 is capable of producing the horsepower of 310hp and a torque of 295 lb-ft. In addition to the upgraded engine, the previous six-speed Multi-tronic transmission has been replaced with Audi S Tronic seven-speed dual clutch transmission for A3 2017. Front and all-wheel drive system is a standard feature of new Audi A3. Powertrain modifications are not scheduled for GCC market so far; however for European markets powertrain refinements are confirmed.
Superior Exterior Looks
When it comes to exterior, the modified Audi A3 adds a new set of tail and head lights. In addition to that, the modified single-frame grille has brushed up the external grace of this sedan. The revised Audi A3 features a new set of 16-19 inch newly designed alloy wheels that gives this sedan even more diverse looks. With all these modifications, new A3 closely resembles to the latest A4 in its exterior looks. New colors are also available for Audi A3 2017 Facelift.
Added Interior Features
The biggest addition that has been made to new Audi A3 Facelift is the installment of 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit; Audi’s latest and the most innovative infotainment system that made its debut in A4 model of Audi. This latest Audi’s infotainment system has much more options and menus than previous infotainment systems of Audi. For driver assistance, Audi A3 2017 features lane departure warning system, traffic jam assist, pedestrian detection, rear cross traffic alert and auto braking system. The MMI screen interface is also revised for new A3 and now has 7-inch folding screen.
Expected Release Date of Audi A3 2017 Facelift
Audi A3 is expected to come to the market later this year with a handful of tweaks and updates from inside to outside. The exact price of redesigned Audi A3 is still not known but you can expect it to be almost similar to the price of 2017 A4 i.e. $35,000.
